St David's in the Fields is a community of faith that accepts the Bible as its supreme standard for belief and practise.
It recognises its dependence on the Spirit of God to both live and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
It sees its primary purpose as being "To make Jesus Christ known through love in action."
It therefore takes seriously Christ's call to follow him and carry out his commands:
It is involved in initiatives both locally and globally in response to these commands.
It sees itself as an integral part of the wider community of Christian faith in Auckland believing that we are called to work together to promote and further the purposes of God for this city and nation.
