Downloading RSS-Browser
Important:
RSS browser was written by one of our members and is available for
download. (104 kilobytes) Therefore, St Davids in the
Fields Church is unable to provide technical support for it beyond what is contained in
these pages. By downloading it you use it entirely at your own risk. It is provided
as a convenience to members who want to keep up to date with our
events. But anyone else who may find it useful is welcome to use it - subject to agreeing to
the following.
By downloading or using the program you
agree that you use this program entirely at
your own risk and that St David's in the Field's church will have no
liability to you or any third party for any loss, cost or damage whatsoever
caused by your downloading and use of, or inability to use, the RSS feed.
System Requirements
- One of the following operating system installed on your machine:
- Windows 2000 Service Pack 3
- Windows 98
- Windows 98 Second Edition
- Windows ME
- Windows Server 2003
- Windows XP Service Pack 2
- Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package. If your computer does not
already have this installed you can download it from the
Microsoft MSDN
web site. For a PC you'll want the x86 version - this is quite a big download (22.4 Mega bytes).
The installation of the .NET framework can take quite a long time, especially on older machines
such as those running Windows 98.
Installing RSS Browser
- Download the file RSSBrowser.exe.
- Either
- Place RSSBrowser.exe on your desktop. - OR -
- Place RSSBrowser.exe in a separate folder on your machine and create a shortcut to it
from your desktop.
